Second Paralympic medal for Mark Arendz!

Mark2Bobcat Mark Arendz from Hartsville, PEI won his second medal of the Paralympics today, taking bronze in the men’s standing 12.5 km biathlon in Sochi.

Mark and Aleksandr Pronkov of Russia were neck-and-neck for the bronze medal for most of the race, before Mark used a strong final leg to earn his spot on the podium.
Marks  also won a silver medal on Saturday in the men’s 7.5 km standing biathlon, the first Canadian ever to do so in the event, where he  finished just .07 seconds behind gold medallist Vladislav Lekomtcev of Russia.

Can Mark win a third medal when he races  in the men’s 15 km standing biathlon on Friday? We all think so! Way to go Mark!!!
